Hyrule Warriors
We already know that Impa, Guardian of Hyrule’s royal family, will be making an appearance as a playable character in Hyrule Warriors, but today we learned that she won’t be fighting with only her giant greatsword. Check out the trailer below to see the Sage of Shadow in-action, fighting with a naginata and a new, more agile moveset.
Impa isn’t the only character we know has multiple styles to choose from, as we’ve seen Link’s fire rod and power gloves in addition to the traditional sword-and-shield, as well as Zelda’s wind waker. The acrobatic flips and flashy martial arts Impa unleashes while equipped with the naginata seem a significant departure from her usual heavier style.
