Halo: The Fall Of Reach Animated Series Comes With Halo 5 Collector’s Editions

The Halo universe has sprawled to encompass a variety of media. This fall, the franchise returns to animation with The Fall of Reach.

The series covers The Master Chief’s origins and his Blue Team compatriots. And will launch alongside the game on October 27.

The trailer above was released at San Diego Comic Con, narrated by Dr. Catherine Halsey (who served as the template for the Master Chief’s closest ally, Cortana). The series will be included with Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition, Limited Collector’s Edition, and Digital Deluxe Editions.

Microsoft also announced that the Hunt the Truth in-universe podcast (in the style of Serial) will continue this fall with another season. If you’ve missed the first series, you can check that out here.

Finally, there is a new ViDoc focused on 343 Industries’ vision for Halo 5: Guardians. That can be viewed on the Halo Channel on Xbox One, Windows 8.1 PCs, or via the new Halo Channel app on iOS, Android, and Windows 8 phones.
