Carmageddon: Reincarnation is available today on Steam Early Access in its pre-alpha state. Along with the announcement is an animated promotional teaser for Carmageddon.

Included in the Early Access release are:

Three levels (The Rig Wreck, The Dusty Trails, and The MagNuChem Reprocessor)
Seven cars (Caddy Fat Cat, Cleaver, Eagle R, The Twister, Countslash, and two cop cars.)

Carmageddon is available on Steam for $29.99 for the Early Access game. The price will go up when it's released in full, according to Stainless Games. Carmageddon has been available to play for the past two weeks for Kickstarter backers, but this is the first time the general public can join in.

Developer Stainless Games held an AMA on Reddit today, if you're looking for more information. Stainless Games has also made the Android and iOS Carmageddon game free in celebration of Carmageddon launching on Steam Early Access.
