Okay, so I may as well participate here, as I'm trying to create a list of really good games to buy when I get my next big paycheck.
I am an avid player of RPG's and I love games with a good story. I am interested in breaking into the Co-op or multiplayer realm, as these aren't really areas I've got a lot of experience in these types of games. I'm including a list of games I'm interested in, you guys let me know what you think of them, and whether or not you have any suggestions.
Assassin's Creed II
Borderlands
Demon's Souls
Uncharted and Uncharted 2
Warhawk (as long as this game has been out, is its player community still active enough to warrant purchasing the game?)
Dragon Age: Origins (should I get this for PC, or for PS3?)
Any other suggestions for games would be greatly appreciated. If you've played any good RPG or Action/Adventure titles, or titles which are similar, let me know and I'll add them to my list. I've lost track of some of the good games that came out in the last year, and some that are coming out. Hit me up.
I'm no PS3 owner, but by the sounds of it, Uncharted 2 seems to be the way to go these days.
Want a game thats worth more than its price? A game so good,unique and addicting that it will suck your social life to -0? A game that you would love to play again and again like the good' ol dayz? Well this under the radar gem is none other than DEMONS SOULS, an "exclusive" for the PS3. All I got to say is playing speaks louder than words people, so rent or buy your copy NOW!!!! you'll thank me later....

GTA IV, Uncharted 2, Bioshock, Modern Warfare there's alot to choose from
If your into shooters, i roccomend battlefield bad company and rainbow six vegas 2. These games are both under 25 dollars now i believe, and have top notch gameplay and graphics, great story modes, and EXCELENT ONLINE :) hope that helps. just go to gamestop buy it used and if you dont like it within 7 days u can return it thats what i do.
Things you need to know about various PS3 exclusives.
Demon's Souls: Don't play it for the story, play it for the feel of an old-school game that is relentless in its hate for you and its sheer desire to crush every fiber of your being into dust.
Uncharted 2: Best SP of any game on the market. Story is amazing, gameplay is even better (not into TPS myself, but the gameplay is awesome) and it has a multiplayer mode that will be going on for a while.
Killzone 2: The cycle is winding down on the game but don't let that deter you. If you have the money get KZ1, KZ liberation, and then KZ2. The story builds from each one (especially liberation to 2) and if you can get past the dialogue of KZ2 you find one of the best stories in any game. I personally believe it is worth it just for SP, but throw on an extremely devoted following on MP and it's a deal. I would however wait for it to hit greatest hits status though before buying.
As far as what is coming out now though you can't go wrong with MW2 and AC2. Both of which look to be awesome games.

If you just got a PS3 It's between Metal Gear solid 4,Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet and of course, Uncharted 2.

I love playing whenever I can, seeing as I don't own a PS3 (though that may change soon).
I enjoy playing Modern Warfare 2 and Little Big Planet when capable. Both are great titles with plenty of gameplay within.

COD:MW2 / Dragon Age: Origins all the way!
Uncharted 2 is the best game out right now that is until I play Modern Warfare 2 today so we will see....
