Before posting anything give me an explanation why. Don't give me a fanboy crap reason either.
I don't want to regret my suggestion like I did when I bought my Wii.
So far when I dig through the Internet everyone says PS3 is a greater buy Wifi/Usb/Blu-Ray/ Etc.
EDIT: High-traffic threads like this deserve correct spelling and punctuation, even if the first post rarely gets read anymore...
I don't know why I like the 360 ps3 controller is too light I have both plus I like the 360 exclusives better
I am a Microsoft fanboy, but I'm going to go with ps3. I have played both systems, and to me their graphics are close to the same. However, the ps3 has wifi, you can play online for free, and is quieter (noise doesn't bother me, but some people go insane after listening to the 360 for a few hours). The 360 has better organized software, and in my opinion has more high quality games.
PS3 has the games coming out now. Also you don't have to pay $4.50/mo. (min.) to play online. If you do pick up a PS3, I'm MGN001, if you're interested.
i think ps3 gives you more bang for your buck, especially now that the two consoles are both $300, reason being with ps3 you get instant access to multiplayer without any fees, built in wifi is very helpful to many people, and of course it plays blueray movies. but xbox is still a fine console for just games, many multiplatform games end up being better on xbox because the developers do a poor job porting to ps3, and plus its online features are fairly better if your willing to pay the yearly fee. if i had to only have one, i would choose ps3. that said, im glad i own both.
DON'T WORRY
Xbox360 theres sooo much more connecivity to your friends, and you can talk to a bunch of them in game.
If I were to judge the machines side by side, then I would say the PS3. This is a no brainer as to why, they money reasons have all been pointed out. However it has also been pointed out that you need to decide what kind a machine you want, and what kind of games. Games being the main thing, PS network and live have very few differences these days other than user interface.
The playstation 3
It seems they have been stepping up their game this year and a lot of games coming out for it.
I don't even have the cash to pump out though I will soon though I do believe it's the better purchase.
For graphics, get the PS3. For halo, get the 360
If u want free online get the ps3
The Ps3 and the xbox both have there flaws. Ps3 has a lesser breakdown average but if your looking for an online experience then definitely go for the x box. If your like shooters and or sports i recommend the Ps3.

Well, technologically, the PS3 really is the better buy, and it's got a great game list to boot. However, the 360 has the wider range of good games by far, and the superior game experience. If you are buying the PS3 for the complete package and not just the games, by all means get the PS3. But if you are focusing solely on the gaming experience, the 360 is the better system.
Revenge is a dish best served with cookies.
Well, both consoles are great systems, but if I had to pick one it'll be the PlayStation 3. Mainly, the PS3 is a more polish console and its very multimedia friendly and I love technology. Also, the Blu-Ray drive is a nice addition -- also the PlayStation 3 just has the better all-around selection of games to play.
Another big advantage is PlayStation Network and its absolutely free of charge. I'm sick of paying for Xbox LIVE and my broadband connection fee (something has to give). Futhermore, 2010 is going to be a HUGE year for PlayStation 3 --Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIV, God of War III, The Last Guardian, Heavy Rain, and many more.
It's pretty much a judgment call and what you like as a gamer, but PlayStation 3 is the better console in my opinion.
Gaming wise I love my 360. However its my fourth one and it just got sent out yesterday for an E74 error code. on that note I gotta lean toward my ps3. While xboxlive is more user friendly than PSN...you can't go wrong with a Blu-Ray player that plays games and actually works!!
It depends. 360's online is better and the PS3 doesn't break as much.
War may be ugly, but it sure is fun!
There is no definitive answer for this, it's all base on your preference.
I'd give you suggestions though on what works and doesn't work for both systems:
Xbox 360:
Pros-
-wide selection of games
-has Xbox Exclusive games
-Usually gets patches/downloadable content sooner than PS3
Cons-
-Red Ring of Death
-No BluRay
-D-pad on controller sucks
-Have to pay for online
PS3:
-Free Online
-Built-in Wi-Fi connection
-Cheaper than Most BluRay players
-Good selection of games, including PS3 exclusive games
-Takes up the most space between all 3 consoles
-Gets short-end stick of games
-Too many updates
-Microphone is a hassle to set up
well, there you have it, I wish you the the best of luck choosing your preference of gaming platform, and happy hunting.
