I’m not a big Halo 3 fan. As a matter of fact, I love hating upon it. But there is one thing I don’t hate, the replay theatre. I wish all multiplayer games were nice enough to include a replay theatre and screenshotablity (new word). Oh, and map editablility (That’s my other new word). I can’t count the number of “HOLY S**T!!! THAT’S CRAZAAAAY!” moments I’ve had while playing Battlefield or Call of Dudes that I wish I could bottle up and save forever. Just imagine your favorite multiplayer game (not halo) and imagine saving game replays, and changing the map to make some wicked fun games. It would help to create an amazing online community. Look how long Halo 3 has lasted. And it’s still going strong.

I would love that kinda thing for MW2 and other FPSs. Its works so well for Halo but I don't think companies are willing to put that much extra effort into having the website and hosting the images and videos. Halos community support can't be matched, but I think the replay may work.
If I remember correctly, for Call of Duty 4, Activision actually gave out a CoD map editor and said : "Create a good map that we and the public like, and we'll put it in CoD MW2."
But I do agree with you that a lot of the games nowadays need at least some type of replay ability. I'm glad that Street Fighter IV and BlazBlue and Tekken have that ability now.
That's one of the few things CoD 4 did right. I just wish it was in more games.
