With the release of Modern Warfare 2 only a week away, you can just fee the hype in the air all around you. This final "launch" trailer premiered last night on Spike TV and Comedy Central. As always, there's a ton of fighting, action, and explosions going on here, guy's yelling at each other and all that good stuff. However, apart from one of Eminem's song being used for the trailer, there appears something strange going on 57 seconds into the video. There appears to be an astrounaut involved in a pretty big explosion in outer space. Do you think we'll get to play a mission or two in space?Check out the link to the youtube video below, and tell me what you think is going on at the 57 seconds mark?

It'd be cool, having to go and sabotage another countries space station, or even save our own.
I hope it's a real level. Not like the radiation thing in the first one.(which was still awesome)
I really hope this fits in the story and not just thrown in as a "oh look you can go in space" level. I worry this game may be trying to be "too over the top".
Maybe the blast of the satellites disfigures all the space crew and they bow revenge on the people on earth so they come down raining fury upon man and that's how we get the Alien Terrorist Mode... yeah no... sorry about that, i got over excited. :'[
Yeah I saw that too, I'm wondering how in the world does this tie into MW2?
It could be a sequence similar to the Nuclear strike that you witness in the Call of Duty 4 campaign.
I know there were rumors a while back on a mission in the International Space Station, but Infinity Ward didn't say a thing about it...until now.
Well, they aren't really saying anything, but they're showing us this... Makes me really really curious as to not only what exactly this is, but how it will tie in with the game also...
Geez!!! Why can't the game be out already!?
I think it's interconnected with the satellite that was involved in the E3 demo... Your most likely are trying to stop the enemy from weaponizing space or vice versa.
'Cause everyone knows that normal SAS soldiers can perform missions in space. This is probably something like Nazi Zombies. Call of Duty is just getting more and more ridiculous. AS a side note, this kind of reminds me of the last level of 007: Nightfire
It's a plan to stop aliens from taking over the worlds space stations and sending brain waves turning humans in to slaves so we can build idles of their leaders and they can farm us for food of knowledge for their you alien spawn................. Or maybe it's just a cut scene to start a mission early on in the game.
That would be sweet if there was some missons in space. The sean is probable a hook for the game to get people to play the game. It could be a sean that its just a video that u get to wach not play. Naw if they made the game more interactive thats what would put the ratings through the roof.
