Crytek Showcases Robinson: The Journey For PlayStation VR

After extolling the virtues of VR development, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli took the Sony stage at Paris Games Week to show the studio's Robinson: The Journey, built exclusively for virtual reality.

Robinson: The Journey puts the player in a lush environment guided by a floating robo-buddy, using real-life movement in VR to avoid hazards like stampeding dinosaurs.

Judging from the trailer, the visual spectacle is already shaping up to meet Crytek’s high standards. As for how the gameplay feels – a critical part of VR – we’ll have to wait a little longer to try the experience for ourselves.
