Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer Beta Coming In August
Call of Duty: Black Ops III developer Treyarch has announced that the game's multiplayer beta hits next month – first to PS4 players, of course.
At E3 last month, Sony and Activision announced that for Black Ops III and future COD games, PlayStation platforms will get first dibs on betas and DLC. This reverses the deal for previous COD titles, which went to Microsoft systems first.
As the Tweet below implies, there's no word on when it will hit the PS3 or Microsoft platforms.
Call of Duty: Black Ops releases on November 6 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
We're excited to announce that the #BlackOps3 Multiplayer Beta will begin on 8/19 starting on PS4. More information coming soon!

Our Take
Activision hasn't announced when stuff will come out for non-Sony platforms, but when Microsoft had the deal the difference was about a month.
