Sega Confirms Valkyria Chronicles Headed To PC
We don’t know when and we don’t know how much it will cost, but Sega just made a big announcement. The original Valkyria Chronicles is coming to PC.
The publisher didn’t even name the title, but between the text and image included in the tweet, it’s clear. Valkyria Chronicles was originally released on PS3 in 2008.

It’s described as a tactical roleplaying game with shooter elements. While it was critically acclaimed, it didn’t earn a console release. The follow-up was shunted to the PSP.
We’re eager to learn more about the return of this title. We’ll update once we have more information.

Our Take
Fingers are crossed that Sega is able to bring both the PS3 original and PSP follow-up to PC. We enjoyed both games, awarding them scores of 8.5. This will breathe new life into a series that has sorely needed another entry (especially since the third entry never arrived in North America).
