Sega Says Phantasy Star Online 2 Still Planned For Western Release
According to a Sega representative, the long-delayed MMO will eventually be released in Western markets.
Many had given up on the game, given that it was released in Japan back in 2012, and missed a planned U.S. release date in 2013. However, when asked about a Western release for the game on Twitter, the official Sega account answered: "PSO2 is still delayed. SEGA is currently working on bringing PSO2 to the West and will update as soon as we know more."
So, it's at least a sign of hope for American PSO fans.

Our Take
This is an encouraging sign, but the American version of Phantasy Star Online 2 has officially verged into "we'll believe it when we see it" territory.
