New Super Meat Boy Unveiled At PAX
Update: Team Meat's Edmund McMillen took to Twitter to clarify what type of game Super Meat Boy Forever is. It is not an endless runner, as previously reported.
The following tweets by McMillen clarify that it is indeed a full-fledged game comparable to Super Meat Boy.

Original Story
Team Meat, known for bringing the fun and challenging platformer, Super Meat Boy, is back with a new project.
The new game is called Super Meat Boy Forever and it's an endless runner for PC and tablets. Team Meat (comprised of Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes) used PAX Prime to debut its new darling and has it playable on the show floor.
If you're at the show, you should stop by and check it. We're guessing the challenge won't be for the faint of heart. You can see a video of the game in action taken by GI's own Kyle Hilliard on the PAX show floor.
No release date has been set for the game.

Our Take
This is exciting news. Super Meat Boy made a splash when it debuted in 2010. In fact, our own Jeff Marchiafava gave the game plenty of praise in his review. Team Meat has already proved they do what they do well and love bringing challenge to gamers. I can only guess that Super Meat Boy Forever will have a hefty challenge, along with Team Meat's trademark charm. Already showing off the game is promising, so hopefully we won't have to wait too long for its release.
