Dragon Age: Inquisition Release Delayed By Over A Month
With three huge titles set to release on October 7, EA is the first to blink. Dragon Age: Inquisition will now be released on November 18.
We had a great experience demoing the title in our first hands-on, but BioWare has decided it needs more time to get it right. “We appreciate the enormous support we’ve received from all of you to get to this point, and while this extra few weeks may not seem like a lot, I know the game you’ll play will be all the better for it,” wrote executive producer Mark Darrah.
EA also delayed the release of Battlefield Hardline into 2015 today. The company announced strong first quarter financials and projects a healthy finish to the current fiscal year.

Our Take
While it’s good to see a title moving out of October, I’m pretty shocked that Dragon Age was the first to move. Still, if this makes the game better (and gives it a better shot for mindshare in November), it’s the right call. A five week delay isn’t the end of the world, and the dragons won’t be smaller because of it.
