Bayonetta: Bloody Fate Anime Film Coming To North America

Anime distribution company, Funimation, has acquired the rights to localize and distribute an animated Bayonetta feature in North America.

The film, subtitled Bloody Fate, is based on the Bayonetta video game and according to the press release announcing the film, it "faithfully captures the extreme action and sexiness of the original."

The director of the film, Fuminori Kizaki worked previously on the Afro Samurai series.
