See Mario Kart Wii Modified For Oculus Rift
Chadtronic on YouTube, a channel which seems to specialize in playing Nintendo games on the Oculus Rift, recently took Mario Kart Wii for a spin.
In the past Chadtronic made a video of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as it translated to virtual reality. You can check out those videos here. In the Mario Kart video below you will see a Mario Kart race from the first-person perspective, and all the things that go along with it, like firing off turtle shells and picking up power-ups. It's a genre and game that seems especially well-suited to virtual reality.
