Star Wars 1313 Director Returns To Sony
IGN tracked down the news today of Robilliard’s return to Sony via an update to the developer’s LinkedIn profile. Prior to working at LucasArts on titles like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II and more recently as creative director on the canceled Star Wars 1313, Dominic Robilliard worked with Sony Europe on The Getaway series.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Robilliard has been back at Sony since July of 2013, but it’s unclear exactly what titles he’s been working on since coming back to the company.
Our Take
It's great to find out the Robilliard has landed on his feet with a new position at Sony after the closure of Lucasarts. I'm looking forward to finding out what he's working on. Even so, I'm reminded how sad I am that we won't be seeing Star Wars 1313 come to fruition; here's hoping some great new Star Wars games are announced sometime soon.
