PlayStation Vita Update 2.61 Available Now
Update: When Sony said the update was coming soon two hours ago, it wasn't kidding. The update is available now.

As you can see in the tweet above from the official PlayStation Twitter account, the update will address behind the scenes software stability features.
Our Take
I don't know if it counts as an update, but the big thing I want from my PlayStation Vita is more compatibility with classic PlayStation One titles. I want to to play my digital copy of Crash Bandicoot 2 on my Vita. I feel like I am not asking that much.
