Gamescom Announces Show Winners, PlayStation 4 Beats Out Xbox One

Gamescom is winding down today, and the show has announced its favorite games. Titanfall and Destiny appear to be the favorites, and Gamescom also awarded the PlayStation 4 "Best Hardware including Peripheral," ahead of the Xbox One.

Our Take
Everyone who has touched Titanfall seems to walk away with a new outlook on life, or at least video games. Destiny seems to offer a similar revelation. Mario Kart 8 also seems to be turning some heads. Maybe that will be the game that turns everything around for the Wii U.
