Jack Tramiel, the founder of Commodore International, a company best known for manufacturing the Commodore 64, passed away yesterday at the age of 83.
Tramiel formed Commodore International in 1982, which released, among other things, the Commodore 64, Commodore 128, and Commodore Amiga. He also founded the Atari Corporation in 1984 after purchasing Atari Inc.'s Consumer Division from Warner.
