That Whole Arkham World Thing Was A Joke

The Batman: Arkham World tease at the Video Game Awards show last weekend was all just a joke.

While accepting his "Character of the Year" award, the Joker held a script for a game that many thought was a possible reveal of the next game from developer Rocksteady. Warner Bros. says fans shouldn't read too much into it.

"What was referenced in Rocksteady's acceptance speech was added in good fun only," a representative said in a statement.

Batman: Arkahm City was first revealed at the VGAs in 2009.
