Two Million People Signed Up To Play The Old Republic Beta

Electronic Arts says more than two million people signed up to participate in the Star Wars: The Old Republic beta.
CFO Eric Brown confirmed the numbers during the Global Media and Communications Conference in New York City today.
During Thanksgiving weekend, EA says more than 725,000 unique players joined the game and each player played an average of four hours per day over the three-day weekend. The peak number of concurrent users over Thanksgiving reached more than 250,000. In total, more than nine million hours of the beta were played in those three days.
EA says the service is solid, and that the publisher its learning and making adjustments as it prepares for the December 20 launch in North America and Europe.
