Criterion Posts Job Listing For New Open World Racing Game

A couple of online job postings indicate the Burnout developer is working on a new racing game.

The website Videogamer spotted the listings. One is for an AI programmer, which reads, "Our current ambition requires an innovative programmer to deliver killer entertainment experiences with believable, open world AI Racing Drivers." The second is for a lead software engineer "to help create a new extension to the existing Criterion team focusing on developing on new platforms."

Obviously, the "new platforms" part of that listing is intriguing. Perhaps next-gen console development is already beginning at Criterion?
