Microsoft Addressing Gears Of War 3 Leak

An early build of Gears of War 3 has found its way onto the internet two months before its planned September release on Xbox 360. Microsoft states that it is investigating, and that the leaked version is an early iteration of Gears of War 3's campaign – not what eager Cog soldiers will experience in the final release.

"We have seen the reports of Gears of War 3 content being propped on the Web and working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation," Microsoft told IGN.

"This content is not from a final build and is not representative of what fans will enjoy when the game launches,” the company asserts.

If this leak is anything like a Locust invasion, I recommend Microsoft handle it like I do – throw a grenade at it.
