Konami Announces WWII Air Combat Title Birds Of Steel

Today Konami has announced a WWII air combat title for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Developed by Gaijin Entertainment, Birds of Steel will let players into the cockpit of more than 100 famous fighters to engage in missions as a pilot in the American or Japanese Navy, Army, or Air Force.

Birds of Steel will offer single- and multiplayer modes, versus arenas, the ability to create, edit, and share video replays, and more. The announcement didn't reveal a release window, but our guess is we'll hear more about this and Konami's other offerings at E3. In the meantime, check out the media gallery below.
