PlayStation Move Sackboy Game Coming To PSN

by Matt Helgeson on Nov 18, 2010 at 02:13 PM

While LittleBigPlanet 2 remains one of our most-anticipated games of 2011, Sony's PlayStation Blog gave us some good news today: the existence of Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves, a brand-new multiplayer game for PSN.

The game has a unique hook: one player uses a Move controller to flick switches and trigger platforms to help the other three players, who play with DualShock controllers. The game is a standalone product -- it doesn't require that you own LittleBigPlanet or LittleBigPlanet 2.

As the title suggest, this game takes Sackboy to the days when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. To defeat the king Evil Big Rex, you'll have to traverse 10 levels filled with challenges devised by the cunning Terrance Dactyl.

The game will sell for $5.99 in the PlayStation Store. It's set to release on December 14. However, PlayStation Plus subscribers will get the game for free, and a week early, on December 7. However, if you're willing to wait, the game will also come packaged with LittleBigPlanet 2 when it releases on January 18, 2011.
