Gamer Breaks TV While Playing Kinect

by Ben Reeves on Nov 05, 2010 at 11:00 AM

When Nintendo’s Wii first launched there were numerous reports of people “accidentally” throwing their Wii remotes into their TVs, windows, and pets. Now the Kinect is out, and players have nothing to hold onto while playing games, yet someone has still managed to break their TV.

Self proclaimed “moron” Phil Villarreal just posted a blog about how he broke his TV during a game of Kinect Sports Volleyball. When Villarreal went to spike an invisible volley, he accidentally knocked the chain from his ceiling fan into this LCD TV. What’s the lesson here? Don’t underestimate the human race's ability to break expensive things.

Microsoft says you are the controller, so please don’t throw yourself at the wall if you can’t beat your Dance Central high score.
