Two Unannounced Phantasy Star Titles Trademarked In Japan

An industrious trademark hunter has come across two games that are certainly not Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity and Phantasy Star Online 2, since those have already been announced.

Siliconera, which apparently sifts through Japanese trademark entries, found this sweet gem for its hard work. Sega filed trademarks for Phantasy Star: Eternal Planets and Phantasy Star: Eternal Hunters under the video game category.

The site speculates that these are companion games in the way that Pokemon titles always come in pairs. That doesn't necessarily mean we're going to be monster hunting in the Phantasy Star universe anytime soon.
