Halo Reach Has Sold 3.3 Million Copies
Surprising nobody, Halo Reach cleaned up in the sales department for the month of September. Bungie's latest (and last) entry in the Halo franchise released on September 14, and despite only having a couple weeks on the books, the game sold a ridiculous number of copies.
According the NPD Group, Halo: Reach sold 3.3 million copies. This makes it the third game this generation to break the 3 million mark in its launch month (following Halo 3 and Modern Warfare 2). "Halo:Reach was the best-selling game of the month, selling 3.3 million units not including those bundled with hardware," says the NPD Group's Anita Frazier in a statement. "This is comparable to the first month sales of both Halo:3 and Halo:2."
Yeah, we get it. People like Halo. More breaking news as it becomes available!
