The Doors First To Light the RB 3 DLC Fire

by Matthew Kato on Oct 13, 2010 at 04:24 AM

For those of you who think playing "The Power of Love" is a lame way to use Rock Band 3's new keyboards, don't worry – developer Harmonix is not dropping the ball. The company has announced that three Doors songs will be available as DLC the day the game launches on October 26, with more to follow shortly thereafter.

"Light My Fire," "Riders on the Storm," and "Touch Me" will be available for free (and they will include RB 3's new pro bass and guitar parts) for anyone who plays the game online during the first week.

A nine-song Doors pack will also be released that week, but these won't feature pro guitar/bass parts. After this initial period, these songs will only be available as individual purchases or as a 12-song pack, and it remains to be seen whether the pro guitar/bass parts will be made available at a later date.
