Ubisoft Announces Beyond Good & Evil HD

It may not be news about Beyond Good & Evil 2, but we’ll take it. Ubisoft has announced that the cult classic title Beyond Good & Evil is being revamped for an HD, downloadable release in 2011.

Beyond Good & Evil HD will be boosted to 1080p visuals, and character models, textures, and audio have all been upgraded. The narrative and gameplay will remain unchanged, which is fine by us – why fix what isn’t broken?

We haven’t had any comparison shots passed our way yet, but will be sure to update when we do.

Beyond Good & Evil HD will hit Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network in an undisclosed window next year.
