Bayonetta 2 A Possibility If You Believe In Her
Bayonetta's director Hideki Kamiya believes that a Bayonetta sequel is in the works. On his twitter page, a fan asked "will we see Bayonetta 2." Kamiya's response? "I believe so."
He later added, "she'll be back if you believe so." This isn't the vote of confidence I was hoping for. The "if you believe" angle sounds like magic from a Peter Pan book. Sure, Kamiya could be playing coy, and the game may already be in development, but his phrasing makes it sound like the possibility of a sequel is still being discussed. If this is the case, and Bayonetta 2 spends a two years in development like most games do these days, we likely won't see it until 2012/2013.
