Suda51 Wants To Do No More Heroes 3, Possibly With EA

by Phil Kollar on Sep 15, 2010 at 07:00 AM

Shadows of the Damned, the newest project from eccentric Japanese game creator Goichi Suda (a.k.a. Suda 51), was announced earlier today. However, in an interview with the always-interesting developer, we asked him if he still plans to return to the No More Heroes series that he worked on previously.

When we asked about No More Heroes, Suda told us:

"No More Heroes is a very important title, but right now I'm concentrating on Shadows of the Damned. After this title comes out and is a huge success, I would really love to do a sequel for No More Heroes and maybe collaborate with EA."

The previous two No More Heroes titles were published by Marvelous Entertainment in Japan and Ubisoft in North America, so teaming up with EA would be a big change. Perhaps Suda is unhappy with how the previous publishers handled his games, or maybe he's just enjoying working with EA on Shadows of the Damned.

Of course, Suda also stated in a previous interview that he wants No More Heroes 3 to come out "just like diarrhea." I'm not entirely certain that's a publishing policy EA subscribes to, but I guess we'll find out.
