Faeries Come To XBLA, PSN, And PC
Faery: Legends of Avalon is a full-fledged RPG coming to download services before the end of the year.
French game maker Focus Home Interactive is prepping the game for release on the major download services, and some cool fantasy art and attractive screens from the game caught our eye.
Players adopt the role of an elf or a fairy as they journey through the fantasy world of Avalon. The quest revolves around the fact that this magical world is dying, and you must find the cause and solution. Players will be able to develop their character's special abilities and equipment over the course of the game. One of the cooler elements of the game looks to be the ability to select companion creatures and characters to join you, including a dragon, a troll, or other fairies.
We'll keep you updated as we hear more about the title. Traditionally, it's been hard to deliver deep role-playing experiences in smaller packages on PSN or XBLA, but here's hoping this new project can buck the trend.
Faery: Legends of Avalon releases in November. New updates will appear on the game's website, but as of now, the only thing to find there is the signature art and logo.
