Crysis 2 Not Happening In 2010
If you were hoping to get Crytek's latest dose of super-high-end, visually stunning first-person shooting this year, I've got some bad news. EA let slip today that the title has been pushed back to an early 2011 release.
As part of their Q1 2011 financial report, EA posted a list of upcoming releases which confirms the delay. According to the list, Crysis 2 is planned for the fourth quarter of the 2011 fiscal year, which is weird business-speak for sometime between January and March of next year. You'll have to save your desire for wanton destruction in beautiful environments until then.
