No More Heroes 2 Special Edition In Japan Comes With Movie, Erotica

by Phil Kollar on Jul 15, 2010 at 09:35 AM

No More Heroes 2 has been out in North America since early in the year, but a Japanese release has only just been announced for October 21. As a bonus for their patience, though, Japanese audiences will also be able to pick up a special "Hoppers Edition" of the game packed with some interesting extra materials.

Silicon Era reports (via Famitsu) on the contents of the special edition. In addition to the game, Japanese gamers willing to spend some extra cash will receive a bonus DVD with a Suda51-penned movie titled No More Heroes 1.5. We're guessing that will fill in some small plot gaps between the first and second game. They'll also receive a soundtrack CD and a "fan book." Oh, and if you pre-order, you'll get an "erotica comic." Oh boy.

The special edition will cost 8,980 yen (just over $100), while the normal version will run 7,140 yen (around $80).
