Pac-Man 3D Cartoon Coming, New Pac-Man Party Screens

by Matt Helgeson on Jul 09, 2010 at 09:37 AM

Hollywood super producer Avi Arad (Spider-Man, Iron Man) and Namco Bandai have teamed up to create a new, 3D cartoon series starring video game icon Pac-Man. While the project has been in development for some time, Namco Bandai’s Japanese Twitter account just broke the news that the series will be debuting in 2012. So, if you have one of those fancy new 3D TVs and a fondness for spherical yellow dudes, this is the show for you.

Namco Bandai also released new screenshots for Pac-Man Party, a board/party style game in the vein of (natch) Mario Party. The game will feature a Pac-Man likeness that is based on the version of Pac Daddy depicted in the 3D series. The game, unsurprisingly, features a host of short contests like rolling a snowball down a hill, a King of the Mountain style game, and fishing. Pac-Man Party releases exclusively for Wii this fall.
