Crackdown 2 Demo Bug Unlocks Unlimited Play
Half an hour with an awesome-looking game that isn’t even out yet is a real treat. However, this sneak peek just doesn’t cut it for some players. Savvy Xbox 360 users have found a way to finagle the Crackdown 2 demo to allow more than 30 minutes of play time.
Here’s the scoop:
- Start the game
- Select your agent
- As soon as you select your agent, unplug the 360 from the internet
- Follow onscreen prompts
- Start new game with frozen 30 minute timer
- Reconnect to Xbox Live
- Invite co-op buddies!
Warning: Apparantly, if you start up any race events, whether on a rooftop or in a car, it will quit the game, so be careful. Not a bad exchange for unlimited play! it helps make the wait for the Xbox 360 title's July 6 release more bearable.
