Portal 2 and GLaDOS Coming To PS3
As Valve's Gabe Newell took the stage at Sony's E3 press conference, he acknowledged that he hasn't said the kindest things about the PlayStation 3 in the past. Now, it looks like any animosity is in the past as Newell confirmed that Portal 2 will be coming to PlayStation 3. Not only that, Newell claims that the PS3 version will be "the best version on any console."
On PlayStation 3, Portal 2 will be connected to the Steam Cloud, which allows for automatic updates and access to your saves from multiple locations. After the announcement, a cinematic video showed off a little bit of Portal 2, though it was light on gameplay (focusing instead on dramatic fly-bys of environments).
The video concluded with the sinister and robotic voice of GLaDOS proclaiming: "I think we can put our differences behind us. For science. You monster." Don't worry...she'll get what's coming to her when Portal 2 comes out early next year.
