Bad Company 2 Onslaught Mode Details Announced

by Matt Bertz on Jun 10, 2010 at 06:24 AM

Electronic Arts has announced the release and pricing details of its upcoming Onslaught four-player co-op mode for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Starting June 22, players can throw down 800 Microsoft points (or $9.99 for those of us who use American currency) on Xbox Live or PlayStation network to download the first batch of paid DLC for the popular shooter.

EA also announced that new Kit Shortcuts will be available soon on consoles as well. For a small fee, players too lazy to earn their arsenal can unlock all the weapons, gadgets, and specializations for a particular kit. These workarounds will cost you $6.99 per kit, or $19.99 for all the kits plus the seven vehicle unlocks. Though players who buy the upgrades will unlock every weapon, they'll still need to earn their rank, pins, and insignias. Xbox 360 players can look for the easy way out starting June 16, with PlayStation 3 gamers gaining access to the shortcut on June 22.
