Half-Life Announcement Coming?
UPDATE: Valve boss Gabe Newell called the image fake in a response to a Half-Life2.net query. Whatever Valve has going on at E3, it apparently "isn't [Episode] 3." The smart money at this point is on Portal 2.
ORIGINAL STORY: A mysterious image including Half-Life's signature lambda sigil and the words "Freeman June 14th" has appeared online. The picture looks to be a photo of some kind of binder or poster, and invites speculation regarding the recently (and hilariously) canceled June 14th Portal 2 event.
There's no official confirmation or denial on its way, but Valve does like to play games on the Net from time to time. The company recently pulled out of E3, but June 14th is the same day as the Xbox media briefing...perhaps Dr. Freeman will be making an appearance at Microsoft's shindig?
