Def Jam Rapstar Release Date, New Tracks Announced

Today Konami and Autumn Games have announced that Def Jam Rapstar will release in North America on October 5 and in Europe on November 2 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii. The game will come bundled with a microphone that will run aspiring rappers $69.99 ($59.99 Wii). European pricing will soon be announced.

New tracks have also been revealed including songs from Drake, Outkast, Ice Cube, and more. Check out the list below:

Biz Markie - "Just A Friend"
Drake - "Best I Ever Had"
Ice Cube - "It Was A Good Day"
Outkast - "So Fresh, So Clean"
Pete Rock and CL Smooth - "They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)"
Redman and Method Man - "Da Rockwilder"
Salt-N-Pepa - "Push It"

The first confirmed producers that will include exclusive instrumental beats for Rapstar's Freestyle Mode include DJ Premier and Just Blaze.

There will be more than 40 songs available at release. Perform tracks in front of your console's camera and upload it to share your embarrassing performances with the community at defjamrapstar.com.
