LucasArts President Darrell Rodriguez Resigns

by Ben Reeves on May 07, 2010 at 10:33 AM

If you’ve ever been president of a multi-million dollar company – preferably with the entertainment industry – maybe it’s time to start updating your resume. It looks like LucasArts might have some job openings, since Darrell Rodriguez, the company’s former president, resigned earlier today.

According to Kotaku the announcement was made earlier today at one of the companies board meetings. Rodriguez has held LucasArt’s reins since April of 2008, during which time the company released Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Republic Heroes, and Fracture. So a bit of a mixed bag.

Reportedly a few of Rodriguez’s executives left along with him, and Lucasfilm's Jerry Bowerman will be running things while the company looks for a permanent replacement. We’d throw our hat in the ring, but our three years of management experience at Quizno’s might not be as competitive as we’d like it to be.
