Activision Publishing CEO Resigns

by Tim Turi on Apr 28, 2010 at 06:41 AM

As Activision scrambles to put out Infinity Ward lawsuit fires left and right, another flame shoots forth. Activision Publishing CEO and president Mike Griffith is stepping down from the company.

The executive’s contract with Activision doesn’t officially end until June 30, but he’s stepping down two months early. In case you’re worried about Griffith’s income, he’ll still be vice chairman of the board and pulling in $250,000 a year.

There has been no reason issued regarding Griffith’s resignation from Activision, but it may have to do with mounting suspicion that Infinity Ward is going down the pipes.
