Yakuza 4 One Of Japan’s Best Selling PS3 Games
A recent issue of the Japanese magazine Famitsu stated that over 5 million PlayStation 3 consoles have been sold in Japan as of April 11. How does that compare to the U.S.? According to Sony PR they are at nearly 12 million in the United States alone.
Kotaku.com also listed the sales for the top three PS3 games in Japan: Final Fantasy XIII (1.8 million copies), Metal Gear Solid 4 (706,461 copies) and Yakuza 4 (526,093 copies). That’s right, the third best selling PS3 game in Japan is Yakuza 4. Japan is weird.
