Even More Gore For Splatterhouse

Namco Bandai's Splatterhouse is getting an extra coating of blood. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 action reboot set to release this fall will feature the first three Splatterhouse video games that originally released in the '90s.

"It's something we wanted to give to the old school fans as a thank you," said a Namco Bandai PR spokesperson, "and to reach out to the younger gamers to let them know what Splatterhouse is all about." The first Splatterhouse appeared in arcades in the late '80s, and the side-scrolling splattering continued for two follow ups on the Sega Genesis.

Unfortunately, Namco Bandai isn't willing to reveal just yet how gamers will access the games. Maybe a 2x4 would change their minds...
