Play New Lost Planet 2 Demo, Unlock Exclusive Gun

Restlessly awaiting the next opportunity to hop in a vital suit mech and kick some butt? A new Lost Planet 2 multiplayer is dropping and the sneak peak at the game's Turbulent Jungle map includes some awesome incentive. How does stat tracking and an exclusive machine gun sound?

Come April 21 you'll be able to shoot it out with up to 16 players on 360; PS3 users will have to wait one day longer for the demo to arrive on PSN. The most rabid Capcom fans will be able to get the demo early on March 31 when community-distributed access codes are being sent out.

This demo comes equipped with full chat functionality and stat tracking, for those hardcore fans that give a crap about their pre-launch kill-death ratio. Additionally, Lost Planet 2 fans that download the demo will have the three round burst Machine Gun SP available immediately upon buying the retail version May 11. That's right, the release date actually got bumped forward, a rare twist these days.
