Tetsuya Nomura Reveals Final Fantasy Versus XIII Details
Tetsuya Nomura was recently featured on the Square Enix Members Twitter account where he answered questions regarding the elusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
In the Twitter-based interview, Nomura provided 140-character tidbits on the game stemming from fan-submitted questions. He said in Versus XIII there are various areas that aren't connected together. You'll be able to fly across a world map in an airship. This should come as great news for explorer-types who expressed disdain toward linearity in Final Fantasy XIII.
Versus XIII is set to be part of a planned trilogy that includes already released XIII and PSP-exclusive Agito XIII. How they're all connected is anyone's guess. In the interview we learn his favorite character among his creations is Sora, and he also admits to have no interest in Twitter. Nomura also expresses he'd like to release two titles this year.
