Gearbox Announces General Knoxx DLC

Borderlands developer Gearbox Software spilled a bean or two about their upcoming DLC offering this morning – The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. The newest add-on was teased last week alongside the news of a level cap increase, touting that General Knoxx will be the largest and most ambitious DLC to date.

Via Gearboxity we got a first look at the project. We are promised “brutal, never-before-seen enemies in a huge new environment complete with tons of brand new missions.” New weapons and items are also pledged. Even though details are scarce, the level cap increase enough is more than enough to get us back on Pandora.



We’ve already explored a zombie-infested island and a survived a massive underdome – two distinctly different experiences. It will be interesting to see what this newest challenge has to offer.

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx is coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. We’ll be sure to get you new details as they become available.
