Lego Universe Manifests Your Childhood Creativity

by Tim Turi on Jan 08, 2010 at 12:45 PM

When I think of endless entertainment value, I think of two things; lego bricks and MMOs. It only makes sense, then, that these two sources of fun should coalesce into one massively multiplayer online game. If you used to spend hours waging lego wars on your living room floor, be sure to check out these new screens and trailer for Lego Universe.

The new online lego game is described as being appropriate for anyone aged eight and up. Don't let the cutesy veneer fool you however. I'll be quick to remind you that legos are still, in fact, fun for adults. The game promises to boast varying complexity, with everything from basic gameplay-based tasks to brick-by-brick construction. Throw in the fact that you'll be buildingwith in a world inhabited by countless plastic denizens, and the game becomes all the more intriguing.

Lego Universe is due out in 2010. Anyone pulling out the 'ol big box-o-legos to prepare?
