MAG Goes Gold, Open Beta Announced
Today on the PlayStation Blog, Zipper Interactive has announced that as a result of successful beta programs for their 256-player FPS, MAG has gone gold in North America and Asia. The game is now going through the manufacturing process to ensure shipment across the world at the end of January.
If you’re still on the fence about getting MAG, Zipper and Sony have also announced that an open beta will become available January 4. No codes or special permissions will be needed to participate, you’ll just need to download the client, which will be available in North America on December 22. PS3 owners in Asia can download the client on December 25, and the European store will have it on January 4. The beta ends January 10.
